MOODY AIR FORCE BASE, Ga. -- Senior Airman Stephanie Williams, Moody Air Force Base Honor Guard member, was a sophomore in college attending a composition class in Fort Meyers, Fla., on Sept. 11, 2001. “The events of 9/11 didn’t have a direct impact on my decision to join the Air Force, but as an Airman, it has become an important date that really emphasizes what it means to be serving in the U.S. military,” said Airman Williams.
