Polar Bear Triathlon

MOODY AIR FORCE BASE, Ga. -- The participants of the Freedom I Fitness and Sports Center’s Annual 2010 Polar Bear Triathlon pose here Jan. 29. From left to right: Capt. Trevor Ambron, Staff Sgt. James Lewis, Capt. Tara McCall, Reina Jacobson, Chief Master Sgt. Richard Parsons and Senior Airman Robert Nelson. Captain Ambron placed first for the males with a time of 1:13:49 and Captain McCall placed first for the females with a time of 1:20:36. Participants of the triathlon competed for the best combined time in the running, swimming and biking events. Throughout the year, the fitness center hosts several activities including fun runs and walks, bike and swim challenges, tournaments and a variety of other fitness challenges.
