PALANQUERO AIR BASE, Colombia -- Colombian air force Technico Subjefe (Senior Master Sgt.) Omar (Maloko) Devia, Colombian C-130 instructor loadmaster, and U.S. Air Force Tech. Sgt. James Floyd, 71st Rescue Squadron loadmaster, decide how they will strap down the cargo for the airdrop here Sept 15. Airmen from Moody's rescue community recently visited Colombia to share their knowledge in a week-long subject matter expert exchange with Colombian Air Force C-130 crews. The exchange gave Moody's Airmen the opportunity to observe and advise the Colombians on their day-to-day rescue operations such as personnel air drops, cargo drops, infiltration, and exfiltration of military and civilian personnel.
