New child booster seat law

Effective July 1, a new law requires children 7 and under to be properly restrained in a booster seat. The law brings Georgia in line with age recommendations set by the National Highway Safety Traffic Administration. Any violations of the law will warrant citations, regardless of state residency or car registration.
