Buckle up
U.S. Air Force Staff Sgt. Antonio Delvercchio, 41st Rescue Squadron flight engineer, buckles an LPU-10/P while demonstrating the proper equipment needed before taking off on a flight at Moody Air Force Base, Ga., July 11, 2011. The LPU-10/P works by pulling downward and slightly outward on the lanyards that extend from the lower front corner of each container and if failure occurs, the life preserver may be orally inflated.
