Securing barriers

U.S. Air Force Master Sgt. Kyle Seevers, 23rd Wing plans and programs, secures nails into the insect barrier of a wall frame during day one of the 2nd Annual Valdosta-Lowndes County Habitat for Humanity Freedom Build in Valdosta, Ga., Sept. 10, 2011. The barrier seals the house’s floor to the cement, which helps keep insects from entering the house. The barrier also helps prevent unwanted ventilation, keeping electricity costs down for the gaining family. (U.S. Air Force photo by Staff Sgt. Jamal D. Sutter/Released)
