HC-130J Combat King II public debut

Patrons to the HC-130J Combat King IIs arrival ceremony on Davis-Monthan Air Force Base, Az., Sept. 24, 2011 view the aircraft after the ceremony. The HC-130J Combat King II will replace the HC-130P/Ns as the only dedicated fixed-wing personnel recovery platform in the Air Force inventory. Majority of the aircraft's operating systems have been improved which will aid the 79th Rescue Squadron, the receiving squadron, to perform their mission more efficiently than they could with the current generation aircraft.
