30-year chief
U.S. Air Force Chief Master Sgt. Kenneth Lilly, 23rd Wing weapons manager, shares a smile while conducting an interview Dec. 14, 2011, at Moody Air Force Base, Ga. Lilly is scheduled to retire from active duty service March 1 of next year, with a ceremony scheduled for Dec. 19, 2011. Throughout his career as a leader, he has been straightforward and honest with his Airmen to ensure they got what they needed to hear rather than what they wanted to hear. Lilly said the thing he’ll miss most about the Air Force is its camaraderie. (U.S. Air Force photo by Staff Sgt. Jamal D. Sutter/Released)
