Swimming is one of the most popular summer activities. According to the International Life Saving Federation website, more than 1 million people die each year from drowning. During the Critical Days of Summer, stay safe and always swim with a companion to reduce your risk of drowning or sustaining an injury. (U.S. Air Force illustration by Staff Sgt. Jamal D.
