Flu vaccination

U.S. Air Force Col. Billy Thompson, 23d Wing commander, receives a flu vaccination from Lt. Col. Louis Gallo, 23d Medical Operations Squadron commander, at Moody Air Force Base, Ga., Aug. 30, 2012. The vaccination is an annual requirement for all service members. There will be mass influenza lines at the base auditorium for active duty Airmen Sept. 19 and 20 from 6:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. The 23d Medical Group immunizations clinic will provide influenza vaccinations to retirees, dependents, and civilian personnel beginning Sept. 24.
