Gestures
U.S. Air Force 2nd Lt. Mika Hamm, 23d Force Support Squadron readiness officer, enjoys American Sign Language because it gives her a way to communicate through facial expressions, gestures and body language. While attending training at Tyndall Air Force Base, Fla., Hamm was able to interpret during a ceremony honoring a deaf civilian employee who had worked for the Air Force for 30 years.
