The 23d Medical Group is pleased to invite patients to register for MiCare, the online Secure Messaging application built to facilitate confidential online communication between doctors and patients.
It will also provide the foundation for access to Electronic Personal Health Records (PHRs) in the future. After registering, you can access MiCare anywhere, at any time to: 

· Avoid unnecessary office visits and telephone calls
· Communicate online with your healthcare team about nonurgent symptoms
· Receive your test and lab results
· Request medication renewals
· Request a copy of your immunization record
· Request an appointment
· Access a large library of patient education materials
Your healthcare team will be able to contact you via MiCare to provide services such as:

· Appointment reminders
· Follow up on your condition without requiring a trip to the clinic
· Medication alerts/refill information
· Medical test and referral results
· Notifications regarding vaccinations, school physicals, and medical group closure dates

How to get started: 
To register, visit the medical group and go to the Family Health Clinic front desk. All you need to do is show your military identification card and provide some basic information such as your name, Department of Defense ID number, birthday and e-mail address. You will then receive an email to finish your enrollment.
