Greetings, Team Moody!

During this holiday season, I want to reach out to every Airman of Team Moody and thank each of you for the hard work and sacrifice you've put in this year to ensure our nation's security.

You are all serving at a critical time in our history and through your superb execution of our rescue, attack and base defense missions, you are adding another chapter to the book of the proud Moody heritage.

Moody has an extremely high operations tempo and I appreciate the sacrifices you and your families make in support of our national interests. Unequivocally, Moody is the most relevant wing in the Air Force today and your diligent efforts make that true.

While 2010 has been a banner year, I ask that you apply the proven Wingman principles as you celebrate our many successes by looking after your teammates and friends.

Know your colleagues' plans, especially those who will not be with family this season and ensure they're active, engaged and in your crosscheck.

I wish you a Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays and Best Wishes for a challenging but rewarding 2011. I want to see each of you healthy and on the job next year.

Please take care this holiday season and if you choose to be merry while involving alcohol, don't make a bad decision to get behind the wheel of a vehicle.

I am so proud of you all and humbled to lead this great team. Stay safe and stay strong, Team Moody!
