Healthy Recipe: Baked basil fries Published May 9, 2011 By Kayla Scherf Health and Wellness Center MOODY AIR FORCE BASE, Ga. -- The Health and Wellness Center dietician provides a series of seasonal recipes for each month. May's recipes are based on basil. Ingredients 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese 1 tablespoon olive oil 1 tablespoon dried basil 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder 4 medium red potatoes How to make it 1. In a bowl, combine Parmesan cheese, oil, basil and garlic powder. 2. Cut potatoes into ΒΌ-inch sticks. Add to cheese mixture; toss to coat. Place in a 15x10x1 inch baking pan and coat with non-stick cooking spray. 3. Bake at 425 degrees for 15 minutes; turn potatoes. Bake 15 to 20 minutes longer until crisp and tender. Makes 4 servings
