Four Airmen from the 23d Equipment Maintenance Squadron recently earned the Army Achievement Medal for their outstanding work in fabricating parts for Army helicopters at Bagram Airfield, Afghanistan.

The helicopters were damaged, and required depot level maintenance to return to action. The Airmen were able to manufacture parts in the 455th Metal Fabrication shop on short notice, allowing the helicopters to be put back into service quickly.

U.S. Air Force Tech. Sgt. David Land, Staff Sgt. Ricky Jarvis, Senior Airman Allan Rosso and Airman 1st Class Ashli Six were all awarded the Army Achievement medal at a ceremony in their shop.
