Hartford should contact 1st Lt. Weigel at 229-257-7187. 23d Medical Group Pharmacy For the next 3 months, the main pharmacy will be limited to 2 service windows due to construction. We request both your patience and assistance while we go through this transition to bringing you a better, more efficient pharmacy. Please be aware of the following information: MAIN PHARMACY CHECK-IN (Now located next to Radiology--follow the signs on the temporary walls) -- Queue tickets will not be required during the construction period -- Form one line near the pharmacy to either pick up or drop off/activate your prescription -- Wait to proceed to the next available window until called by a pharmacy technician -- After you check in, you may wait in the old pharmacy lobby near Family Health and watch the screen for your name to appear -- Once your name appears on the board, please proceed to the line at the pharmacy -- If you have waited beyond your estimated wait time (provided by technician), please proceed to the line to check on the status of your prescription order BX PHARMACY PRESCRIPTION DROP-OFF: -- Patients who see an off-base provider and are issued a hard copy paper prescription may utilize this service if they do not need their medication(s) until the following day. -- To minimize foot traffic at the main pharmacy, we ask that you drop off your hard copy prescriptions at the BX Pharmacy if you can wait until the next day to complete pick up -- Please wait in the usual line at the BX to drop off a prescription -- The technician will perform quality checks on the prescription and your other health insurance before you leave -- Prescriptions dropped off will be ready for PICK UP AT THE MAIN PHARMACY the following duty day -- If the prescription was dropped off after noon, please wait until after noon the following day to present for pick up -- To pick up the medication, simply join the pharmacy line -- As in the past, routine, non-narcotic prescriptions can be picked up at the BX -- Patients needing medications same day may still present prescriptions to the Main Pharmacy for service New Exchange Services hours Effective 17 Oct 15, Moody Exchange Facilities will observe new hours of operation. Love & Logic for School-Age Children Trains parents to raise responsible children by allowing them to grow through their mistakes and teaching them to live with the consequences of their choices. Parents with children from ages 7 to 12 are invited to attend on November 10 and 12 from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. The training will be held in the 23d MDG, Family Advocacy Office. Fearless Marriage: A Couples Communication Training Married and engaged couples are invited to attend the Fearless Marriage Couples Communication Training on November 16, 23 and 30 from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at The Spot. Engaged couples who attend the training will receive a reduced fee on their marriage license. They will only have to pay $16.00 instead of $56.00. Anger Management Training Participants will learn how to manage anger effectively, stop violence or the threat of violence, develop self-control over thoughts and actions and receive support from others. Principles of effective communication and understanding personality differences will be provided. The class will be held on November 3, 10, 17 and 24 from 2:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. in the Family Advocacy Office located in the 23d MDG. Submissions can include a photo: minimum output 150 dpi, image size 4x5 to 5x7, JPEG format - compressed no lower than 60 percent, and saved as the submitter's last name. Appropriate newsworthy events for submission include promotions, graduations, new assignments, awards, decorations, reenlistment, retirement, etc. Submissions are reviewed by 23d Wing Public Affairs before forwarding to the Army and Air Force Hometown News Service. Possessing weapons on base Though federal and state laws authorize many freedoms with regards to privately owned weapons (POWs), transport or possession of POWs, ammunition or other weapons on Moody Air Force Base and Grassy Pond Recreation Area is strictly limited and enforced. The possession of POWs and ammunition in work centers, common areas, dormitory living quarters and storage areas or temporary lodging facilities is prohibited. 10-step battle plan to lasting financial freedom The Airman & Family Readiness center is proud to host Maj(Ret) Steve Sheridan of Mission Wealthy Warriors.org. Maj Sheridan will spend one hour teaching the big "A" his 10 Step Battle Plan to Lasting Financial Freedom on November 11th at 1430-1530. Whether you are struggling with your finances or just need another tool in the tool box, this could be the class for you. Visitors and personnel residing in temporary lodging facilities or dormitories may store POWs and/or ammunition in the Security Forces Armory located at 8209 Apron A Road (Bldg 617) on a space available basis.
