MOODY AIR FORCE BASE, Ga. -- Command Chief Master Sargeant Andrew Shone from the 93 Air Ground Operations Wing joined firefighters from Moody AFB and other fire departments across Valdosta as they keynote speaker for the Valdosta Fire Department’s 6th Annual 9/11 Memorial Run 5K to honor first responders, our military and all the lives lost that day.
Marking 25 years since the 9/11 attacks, the event invited community members to reflect on the courage, service and sacrifice of those who answered the call that day.
