MOODY AIR FORCE BASE, Ga. -- Recently Airmen from the 820th Base Defense Group completed the Mission Qualification Training at Moody Air Force Base, Georgia, which tested their ability to operate in a simulated deployed environment, while responding to evolving threats.
Throughout the training, Airmen practiced security operations, tactical movement, communication and defensive tactics designed to prepare them for operations. The MQT course challenges Airmen to make decisions under pressure and maintain the skills necessary to defend personnel and critical assets in contested environments.
Training like this ensures our 820 BDG Airmen remain ready to answer the call whenever and wherever the mission may take them.
