It is with deep sorrow we share the passing of Airman 1st Class Kaleb Cisco, an Airman assigned to the 23d Maintenance Squadron, who was pronounced deceased at UF Health Jacksonville on 28 May at 4:48 am. Airman Cisco was involved in a motorcycle accident in Jacksonville, Florida. He was wearing all required protective gear at the time of the incident, and alcohol was not a factor.

“It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that we mourn the loss of Kaleb”, said Maj. Ryan Noblin, 23d Maintenance Squadron commander. “As an exceptional Airman and a deeply valued member of our squadron family, his presence brought light and dedication to everything he did. We are feeling his absence deeply. As we navigate this incredibly painful time together, our highest priority is to stand by Kaleb’s family, friends, and wingmen with unwavering support and care. His honorable service and the lasting mark he left on our lives will never be forgotten.”

This tragedy serves as a solemn reminder of the importance of motorcycle and roadway safety. Despite Kaleb taking every precaution available, some factors remain beyond control.

“Please take this opportunity to recommit to safe driving and riding practices and to remain vigilant toward motorcyclists and cyclists traveling alongside us,” said Col. Sean Hall, 23d Wing commander.

Chapel and mental health support services are readily available to assist any personnel affected by this tragic loss.
