Airmen from the 820th Base Defense Group pushed their limits during the Ranger Assessment and Preparation Course—testing their endurance, precision and grit. Every event demanded focus and teamwork under pressure, from early-morning rucks, water confidence training, night missions, land navigation challenges and weapon tactics applications.

Designed to prepare top performers for the Air Force Security Forces Center’s Ranger Assessment Course, the training sharpened both physical and mental toughness. Pushing through the heat, fatigue and long hours in the field, these Defenders volunteered and completed the first step on the road to earning the coveted Ranger tab.
