Moody Airmen demonstrate readiness during a simulated active shooter exercise

Team Moody first responders trained and tested their skills in a simulated active shooter scenario, masterminded and observed by the 23rd Wing Inspector General’s office.

The 23rd Security Forces Squadron neutralized the simulated threat and secured the scene, firefighters and medics triaged and provided aid to the victims, Office of Special Investigations agents analyzed and combed the scene with the help of Public Affairs for photography and documentation.

The 23rd Wing’s ability to protect and respond to any threat is crucial for Airmen and civilian safety and mission success.
