A team of seven Nellis Airmen aboard an HH-60G Pavehawk helicopter rescued a fallen climber at Zion National Park, Utah, May 9. The rescue crew consisted of four aircrew members from the 66th Rescue Squadron, and three pararescuemen from the 58th Rescue Squadron. After surveying the rescue area, the helicopter hovered over the injured climber and lowered the pararescuemen and a litter. The climber, who sustained neck and spinal injuries, was hoisted up into the helicopter within 20 minutes. The climber was admitted to Dixie Regional Medical Center, St. George, Utah. This mission by both rescue squadrons marks the second rescue mission that Nellis Airmen have responded to this year. (Courtesy photo)
