Moody mourns loss of avid supporter

MOODY AIR FORCE BASE, Ga. --  An avid supporter of Moody, William Sirmans passed away June 21. Mr. Sirmans was an integral part of the Moody Support Group North, hosting semi-annual dinners, arranging military golf tournaments and donating to deployed Airmen.

"Mr. Bill Sirmans was a wonderful friend of Team Moody and will be dearly missed, said Col Gary Henderson," 23rd Wing Commander. "Moody has always relished in the fact that our community support in South Georgia makes this base a gem in Air Combat Command and the Air Force. We will fondly remember the years of service-before-self that Mr. Sirmans brought to our Team, as well as the many Berrien County Rotary Club Moody Support Dinners and Military Appreciation Golf Tournaments. It is leaders like him in our community that allow Moody to succeed."

"Our heartfelt condolences go out to Mr. Sirmans' family during this sad time," said the colonel. "The 23rd Wing will always appreciate his support and friendship."
