MOODY AIR FORCE BASE, Ga.-- The Bronze Star Medal was earned by Chief Master Sgt. J.C. Gideon, 23rd Equipment Maintenance Squadron chief enlisted manager, for meritorious service while deployed from 2009 to 2010. During his deployment, the chief directed the largest and most diverse maintenance squadron in the U.S. Air Forces Central and developed numerous strategic plans to fully support all facets of theater combat employment.
