The punishments are determined based on the individual facts and circumstances of each case. A captain from the 23rd Aerospace Medicine Squadron failed to obey a lawful order by dating an enlisted member and fraternizing. The captain received a reprimand. A staff sergeant from the 23rd Aircraft Maintenance Squadron made a false official statement about allegedly beating up a man. The staff sergeant received a suspended reduction to senior airman and a reprimand. A senior airman from the 23rd Equipment Maintenance Squadron wrongfully used marijuana. The senior airman received a reduction to airman first class, 14 days extra duty and a reprimand. An airman first class from the 23rd Force Support Squadron failed to go to their appointed place of duty, was derelict in the performance of their duties, misused their government travel card, and made a false official statement. The airman first class received a suspended reduction to airman, 30 days extra duty and a reprimand. A senior airman from the 23rd Operations Support Squadron made a false official statement. The senior airman received a reduction to airman first class and a reprimand. A technical sergeant from the 23rd Aircraft Maintenance Squadron failed to obey a lawful order by violating a no contact order. The technical sergeant received a suspended reduction to staff sergeant, 14 days extra duty and a reprimand. A staff sergeant from the 723rd Aircraft Maintenance Squadron wrongfully used marijuana. The staff sergeant received a reduction to senior airman, forfeiture of $1,115 and a reprimand. A technical sergeant from the 820th Combat Operations Squadron misused their government travel card. The technical sergeant received a suspended reduction to staff sergeant and a reprimand. An airman first class from the 823rd Base Defense Squadron misused their government travel card. An airman first class from the 723rd Aircraft Maintenance Squadron was arrested by an Echols County Sheriff's officer for speeding and reckless driving. A senior airman from the 723rd Aircraft Maintenance Squadron was arrested by Valdosta Police Department for operating a vehicle while intoxicated.
