Courts-martial include general, special and summary courts-martial with charges under the Uniformed Code of Military Justice. A general court-martial was convened at Moody Air Force Base, Ga., Jan. 21. The accused, a member of the 336th Recruiting Squadron, was charged with, and found guilty of, two counts of failure to obey, in violation of Article 92 of the UCMJ, and two counts of indecent conduct, sexual contact, in violation of Article 120 of the UCMJ. The accused was sentenced to a reduction to airman, three months confinement and a bad conduct discharge. A general court-martial was convened at Moody Air Force Base, Ga., Feb. 11. The accused, a member of the 723rd Aircraft Maintenance Squadron, was charged with, and found guilty of, assault consummated by a batter, in violation of Article 120 of the UCMJ, and aggravated sexual assault, in violation of Article 128 of the UCMJ. The accused was sentenced to a reduction to airman basic, four years confinement and a dishonorable discharge. A special court-martial was convened at Moody Air Force Base, Ga., Feb. 15. The accused, a member of the 23rd Aircraft Maintenance Squadron, was charged with, and found guilty of, failure to obey a lawful general, in violation of Article 92 of the UCMJ, and wrongful use of Lysergic acid diethylamide and mushrooms, in violation of Article 112a of the UCMJ. The accused was sentenced to a reduction to airman basic, 45 days confinement and bad conduct discharge. A general court-martial was convened at Moody Air Force Base, Ga., March 9. The accused, a member of the 822nd Base Defese Squadron, was charged with, and found guilty of, indecent acts with a minor, in violation of Article 120 of the UCMJ, and communicated a threat, in violation of Article 134 of the UCMJ. The accused was sentenced to a reduction to airman basic, forfeiture of all pay and allowances, confinement for five years and six months and a dishonorable discharge. A general court-martial was convened at Moody Air Force Base, Ga., April 8. The accused, a member of the 723rd AMXS, was charged with, and found guilty of, multiple violations of indecent acts with a minor, in violation of Article 120 of the UCMJ. The accused was sentenced to a reduction to airman basic, forfeiture of all pay and allowances, confinement for 18 years and a dishonorable discharge. A general court-martial was convened at Moody Air Force Base, Ga., May 11. The accused, a member of the 723rd AMXS, was charged with, and found guilty of, sodomy, in violation of Article 125 in the UCMJ, and possession of child pornography, in violation of Article 134 in the UCMJ. The accused was sentenced to a reduction to the grade of airman basic, six years confinement, total forfeiture of all pay and allowances and a dishonorable discharge. A special court-martial was convened at Moody Air Force Base, Ga., May 19. The accused, a member of the 23rd Medical Operations Squadron, was charged with, and found guilty of, wrongful use of cocaine, in violation of Article 112a in the UCMJ. The accused was sentenced to a reduction to airman basic, forfeiture of $978 pay per month for three months and confinement for 90 days. A summary court-martial was convened at Moody Air Force Base, Ga., May 9. The accused, a member of the 824th Base Defense Squadron, was charged with, and found guilty of, wrongful use of marijuana, in violation of Article 112a in the UCMJ. The accused was sentenced to a reduction to airman basic, forfeiture of $322 pay per month for three months and confinement for 30 days. The senior airman received a reduction to airman basic and a reprimand. A senior airman from the 23rd Fighter Group provided a false official statement. The senior airman received a suspended reduction to airman, immediate reduction to airman first class and a reprimand. An airman first class from the 23rd Security Forces Squadron was AWOL for more than eight hours. The airman first class received a reduction to airman and a reprimand. An airman first class from the 822nd Base Defense Squadron wrongfully used marijuana. The airman first class received a reduction to airman basic and a reprimand. An airman first class from the 822nd BDS wrongfully used marijuana. The airman first class received a reduction to airman basic and a reprimand.
