Salvia “Spice” and bath salts are prohibited due to their risks to the health, welfare and readiness of our Airmen. Airmen are now receiving Article 15s and are court-martialed for Spice nearly twice as often as marijuana. Just using spice once can result in punishment under the Uniform Code of Military Justice Article 112a-wrongfully using a controlled substance. COMACC general order prohibits Spice/bath salt use

MOODY AIR FORCE BASE, Ga. -- U.S. Air Force Gen. Michael Hostage III, Air Combat Command commmander, signed a general order Nov. 14, 2011, which prohibits the use and possession of salvia, spice and bath salts due to the risks to the health, welfare and readiness of ACC Airmen. The order applies to all members assigned or attached to ACC and can be found here.
