Moody spring 2012 CCAF, on-base school graduates Published April 19, 2012 By Education Center MOODY AIR FORCE BASE, Ga. -- The Moody Spring 2012 Community College of the Air Force (CCAF) and on base schools graduation ceremony is scheduled to be held April 26 at the Moody Field Club. The commencement ceremony will honor graduates from two different on base schools. The Community College of the Air Force is one of several federally charted degree-granting institutions. It is the only two-year institution serving enlisted personnel which awards the associate in applied science degree. CCAF is regionally accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools. The other is Webster University who has been serving Moody for many years and offers a variety of programs. The graduates have balanced family obligations and military duties to complete the academic requirements that led to the conferral of the associates of applied science degrees or Masters level degrees. Families and friends, commanders, supervisors and coworkers were encouraged to recognize and celebrate this educational milestone and honor the achievements of the graduates at the graduation ceremony.
