Military working dog ZIPPO retires

The 23d Security Forces Squadron celebrated the retirement of military working dog  ZIPPO, Feb. 21, 2019, at Moody Air Force Base, Ga. ZIPPO was assigned to the 325th Security Forces Squadron at Tyndall Air Force Base, Fl. in Nov. 2011, as a patrol/explosive dog. He was recently housed at Moody because of the damage to the 325th SFS during Hurricane Michael. Over his eight years on active duty, ZIPPO has deployed to Saudi Arabia twice and supported four United States Secret Service missions where he provided security for the President and Vice President of the United States.
