Air Commandos assigned to the 492d Special Operations Support Squadron instruct deployed aircraft ground response element members assigned to the 193rd Special Operations Security Forces Squadron on tactical combat casualty care during Emerald Warrior 21.1 at Camp McCain Training Center, Mississippi, Feb. 23, 2021. The 492d SOSS provides worldwide direct support to unified and theater commands through conducting medical air advising and operations support to non-standard aviation, combat aviation advisors and irregular warfare missions. Emerald Warrior is the largest joint special operations exercise where U.S. Special Operations Command forces train to respond to various threats across the spectrum of conflict.
