The Surgeon General and Navy Medicine leadership debunk COVID-19 vaccination myths and provide information on the pandemic.

Navy Medicine hosted a 30-minute Facebook Live Q&A Panel Discussion with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to educate military medical professionals about the COVID-19 vaccine, dispel rumors and provide the facts.

A COVID-19 Vaccine Mythbuster Questions and Answer Session with Navy Medicine Doctors, Nurses, and Scientists who will answer the Top 10 Biggest Misconceptions about the vaccine including:

MYTH 10: I’ve had COVID so I’m immune already.
MYTH 9: This vaccine was not designed taking minorities into account.
MYTH 8: We can’t trust COVID-19 vaccines because they were rushed.
MYTH 7: This vaccine is not safe for pregnant or lactating women.
MYTH 6: I shouldn’t get it before older people, so I’ll wait.
MYTH 5: This vaccine will alter my DNA. It will change my genetic make-up.
