Role 2 Light Maneuver supports deployment aboard French ship Tonnerre
Task Force 51/5th Marine Expeditionary Brigade

Our integrated U.S. Navy and U.S. Marine Corps team train together while deployed with French forces aboard French amphibious assault ship LHD Tonnerre (L9014). Naval Amphibious Force, Task Force 51/5th Marine Expeditionary Brigade Sailors and Marines joined a multinational landing force consisting of French infantry, French Armored Cavalry and commandos from the United Arab Emirates' Presidential Guard. Throughout the deployment, TF 51/5 subordinate units with the 15th Marine Expeditionary Unit, Special Purpose Marine Air-Ground Task Force - Crisis Response - Central Command and a U.S. Navy Role 2 Light Maneuver (R2LM) medical team with surgical capability conducted amphibious and maritime security operations within U.S. Central Command area of responsibility. The Flying Tiger Bridge Chat Facilitator provides facilitator trainings for base personnel. Their goal is to create squadron facilitators who take action on ACC's goal of equipping, engaging and empowering Airmen with resilience tools and create high-performing teams who look out for each other.
