Jared Silva an aerospace ground equipment specialist, 143d Maintenance Squadron, discusses his job at the 143d Airlift wing during an interview March 2, 2019, at Quonset Air National Guard Base, North Kingstown, R.I. Silva’s responsiblities include maintaining and repairing the equipment that supplies electricity, hydraulic pressure and air pressure to our planes. Aerospace Ground Equipment specialists play an essential role ensuring our aircraft are ready for flight. From inspecting and troubleshooting to making hands-on repairs and maintaining proper standards, these professionals make sure our planes are always ready for flight. Bridge Chat topics are posted here monthly to encourage small group discussions within teams. Beginning the process of recurring discussions can be difficult, but will become easier with time and reinforce the Flying Tiger culture.

To help us initiate and facilitate these discussions, we have included a guide that defines roles and ground rules.

The Flying Tiger Bridge Chat Facilitator provides facilitator trainings for base personnel. Their goal is to create squadron facilitators who take action on ACC's goal of equipping, engaging and empowering Airmen with resilience tools and create high-performing teams who look out for each other.
