OSAA Change of Command/Responsibility, Part 1
National Guard Bureau
Sept. 30, 2015 | 13:13
On 04 October 2015, OSAA will transition to become an Activity and align the entire organization under the Military District of Washington (MDW) reporting directly to the Commander of the Army Air Operations Group (AAOG). Under the Operational Support Airlift restructure, 48 state/territories will convert from TDA to MTOE detachments leaving 5 states to remain as TDA state flight detachments. ARNG will close three of four Regional Flight Centers to include Ft. Hood, TX; Elmendorf AFB, AK; and Joint Base Lewis-McCord, WA assigned to OSACOM. The ARNG will align the Ft. Belvoir Regional Flight Center under MDW/AAOG and transfer four UC-35s and one C-12 aircraft to establish a non-executive OSA flight detachment at Ft. Belvoir. The Operational Support Airlift Activity will begin its restructure under an O5 command as OSACOM is dissolved and absorbed under AAOG and the active duty fixed wing programs.

About Moody Bridge Chat

Bridge Chat's purpose is to create cohesive, high-performing teams that foster trust and connection through flexible and consistent small group discussions; in direct response to overwhelming feedback from the CSAF 21's Resilience Tactical Pause.

Caring for our Wingmen is what defines us as Airmen, so we must work to get to know our teammates and the challenges they face. We all have the same responsibility of creating the workplace we want and supporting the people we share our lives with.

Bridge Chat topics are posted here monthly to encourage small group discussions within teams. Beginning the process of recurring discussions can be difficult, but will become easier with time and reinforce the Flying Tiger culture.

To help us initiate and facilitate these discussions, we have included a guide that defines roles and ground rules.

The Flying Tiger Bridge Chat Facilitator provides facilitator trainings for base personnel. Their goal is to create squadron facilitators who take action on ACC's goal of equipping, engaging and empowering Airmen with resilience tools and create high-performing teams who look out for each other.
