2/2 Marines Conduct Jungle Training in Brazil

U.S. Marines and Sailors with 2d Battalion, 2d Marine Regiment, 2d Marine Division, in support of U.S. Marine Corps Forces, South, participated in a bilateral jungle training event in Manaus, Brazil, Sept. 19-29, 2022. Throughout the training event, U.S. Marines applied tactics and knowledge given to them by the Brazilian Marines, who regularly operate in the Amazon jungle. Bilateral training events such as jungle training develops and sustains relationships that improve the capacity of U.S. and partner nation maritime forces to achieve common desired effects. This exchange of knowledge between critical regional partners fosters interoperability, friendly relationships, and mutual cooperation. (U.S. Marine Corps video by Sgt. Camila Melendez)

The Flying Tiger Bridge Chat Facilitator provides facilitator trainings for base personnel. Their goal is to create squadron facilitators who take action on ACC's goal of equipping, engaging and empowering Airmen with resilience tools and create high-performing teams who look out for each other.
