Colonel Mack is the Commander at 93d Air Ground Operations Wing, Moody Air Force Base, Georgia. The Wing consists of four groups with over 2,300 Airmen at 20 locations throughout the Continental U.S. Subordinate units are the 3d Air Support Operations Group at Fort Hood, Texas; the 18th Air Support Operations Group at Fort Bragg, North Carolina; the 5th Combat Weather Group at Fort Bragg and the 820th Base Defense Group at Moody AFB.
Colonel Mack began his military service as a Tactical Air Control Party (TACP) Airman before commissioning as an Air Battle Manager. He flew in support of multiple operations, contingencies, and other national level interests. In 2008 he volunteered to return to the TACP team, serving as an Air Liaison Officer and eventually as a Special Warfare Officer.
His operational experience includes Operation ENDURING FREEDOM, Operation IRAQI FREEDOM, Operation INHERENT RESOLVE and Operation ATLANTIC RESOLVE. Colonel Mack has commanded a Squadron, Group and led at various other levels for operations and interests of the United States.
