COLONEL RYAN E. HADEN

Colonel Ryan E. Haden commands the 23d Fighter Group, "Flying Tigers", Moody AFB, GA. He directs the flying and support operations of the largest A-10 operational fighter group consisting of two combat-ready A-10C Thunderbolt II squadrons and an operations support squadron--the 74th and 75th Fighter Squadrons and the 23d Operations Support Squadron.

Colonel Haden previously served as the J5/8 Plans Division, Eastern Flank Branch Chief, United States European Command responsible for development and update of contingency plans related to USEUCOM ensuring integrated planning with other Combatant Commands, Interagency, Allies, and partners.

Colonel Haden has deployed six times in support of Operations SOUTHERN WATCH, ENDURING FREEDOM, and IRAQI FREEDOM.

Colonel Haden is a command pilot with over 2,900 flying hours in the A-10 as an evaluator, instructor, weapon’s officer and operational test pilot.
