MCA expands Airmen's skills, increases lethality

Staff Sgt. Sheldon Clarke, 23d Security Forces Squadron unit trainer, teaches a static defense course May 19, 2020, at Moody Air Force Base, Georgia. The 23d Wing hosted a Multi-Capable Airmen course where Airmen are trained to do additional skills outside of their core Air Force specialty code to make them more lethal in combat. The MCA course is derived from the U.S. Air Force's Agile Combat Employment concept to provide a more lean and agile team and decrease the footprint at a forward operating base.
