A-10 phase inspection promotes flight readiness
Senior Airman Mason Menke, 23d Aircraft Maintenance Squadron (AMXS) weapons load crew member, loosens a bolt during an A-10C Thunderbolt II phase inspection Oct. 8, 2019, at Moody Air Force Base, Ga. During a phase inspection, the 23d Maintenance Squadron Airmen depanel the aircraft to reach the internal workings and perform in depth examinations on A-10s after every 500 flight hours.
