Firefighters test rescue skills during Egress Training
Firefighters from the 23d Civil Engineer Squadron (CES), put up a hose following HC-130J Combat King II egress training, July 11, 2019, at Moody Air Force Base, Ga. Firefighters conducted the training to evaluate their overall knowledge and proficiency of how to properly shut down and rescue personnel from a C-130 during an emergency situation. The training required the firefighters to properly enter and ventilate the aircraft while conducting swift rescue techniques to safely locate and remove passengers from the aircraft.
