820th Base Defense Group celebrates 20 years

Airman 1st Class Christopher Smith, 823rd Base Defense Squadron fire team member, and Retired chief of staff Gen. John Jumper, perform a cake cutting ceremony, during the 820th Base Defense Group’s 20th Anniversary Celebration, March 29, 2017, in Valdosta, Ga. Jumper was a command pilot with more than 5,000 flying hours, including 1,400 combat hours. The celebration included an 820th BDG capabilities demo, a reenlistment ceremony and a formal dinner. 17th Air Force Chief of Staff visits Moody

Airmen move to their next mentor during The Top 3 speed mentoring event, March 23, 2017 at Moody Air Force Base, Ga. The event gave NCOs the opportunity to ask for advice and guidance from Senior NCOs in a variety of career fields on base. NCOs were encouraged to bring paperwork or supporting documents to give SNCOs more resources to try to help. (U.S. Air Force photo by Airman 1st Class Janiqua P. Robinson)
