Melvina Murray, 2019 Teacher of the Year Award recipient and Team Moody spouse, received the award for being the system’s educator who not only embodies her school’s core expectations of integrity first, respect for yourself and others, and excellence in all we do, but also consistently placed her service before herself. This year the VCS system named Murray as one of two recipients to recognize her hard work and dedication before the Murray family relocates to California mid-September.
