Policies

Official photos are by appointment only and available for official use as required by AFI as well as applications for promotion and special duty assignments for personnel stationed at Moody Air Force Base.

Chain-of-command photo prints will be provided for leadership at the squadron-level and above (commander, deputy/vice commander, senior enlisted leader, and first sergeant) as well as quarterly and annual award winners at the group-level and above.

Electronic copies of official photos will be emailed to all requestors. Requestors requiring a printed copy should confirm the size prior to their appointment and provide written justification of the requirement.

The studio is only equipped to print 2x2, 4x6, 3x5, 5x7 or 8x10 (in.) glossy prints.

All studio appointments must ensure their uniform is ready and serviceable before their appointment. If the uniform is not ready by the scheduled time, you will be forced to reschedule for another day and time. It is your responsibility to ensure your uniform, badges, ribbons, devices and accessories meet or exceed your military service requirements, standards or instructions.

Due to the recent pandemic of COVID-19, Moody Air Force Base Public Affairs Photo Studio will only be accepting appointments for personnel that are currently stationed at Moody AFB for mission-essential purposes by phone

We will provide photos for commanders, command chiefs, group superintendents, first sergeants and identifiable positions such as SARC, JAG, ADC, etc. where visual identification is absolutely mandatory, and Passport photos for deploying and PCSing personnel by appointment only. The recommendation from AFPC is for personnel who need photos for assignment or special duty packages to reach out to the OPR requiring the photo and request a waiver.

In response to the postponing of Army promotion boards, DAPMIS has eliminated the requirement for DA photos for current promotion cycles until further notice. We are not conducting DA photos until that requirement is reinstated and DoD and Command guidelines dictate that social distancing and masks are no longer required. We appreciate your understanding with this as there have been numerous changes implemented.

For essential appointments, please call our office at 229-257-4146 with your name, rank, telephone number and justification for the appointment.

Passport photos will be available on Thursday from 10 a.m. - 4 p.m.

Full Length and head and should photos will be available on Friday from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.

All photos will be one-hour increments to allow time for proper cleaning and sanitization between appointments.

Please remember the studio is closed for lunch between noon and 1 p.m.

Only one person will be allowed in the customer service area at a time excluding families with minors.

All Customers over the age of 2 years old will be required to wear a mask.
