Moody engineers build bridges for D-Day 75
Staff Sgt. Jessica Armond, 23d Civil Engineer Squadron (CES) emergency management logistics NCO in charge, left, and Senior Airman Kamilah Hobbs, 23d CES operations manager, right, laugh, June 5, 2019, in Sainte-Mère-Église, France. The engineers were given unique opportunities such as this incentive flight for repairing and building bridges that were used to access hard-to-reach areas of a parachute drop zone during the Commemoration of D-Day 75. As part of the commemoration, parachutists from across the Department of Defense performed the same jumps their predecessors did on D-Day. (U.S. Air Force photo by Airman 1st Class Hayden Legg)
