MOODY AIR FORCE BASE, Ga. -- Members of the 23rd Fighter Group here insert safety pins and prepare to shut down the engines of the final A-10A Thunderbolt II aircraft to depart from Pope AFB, N.C. Dec. 19. The aircraft will soon to depart to Hill AFB, Utah for modification into the fully-digital A-10C model currently assigned to Moody.
