Support for Sam
MOODY AIR FORCE BASE, Ga. -- A group of Airmen from the 71st Rescue Squadron crowd around for a photo with Sam Giltner, the 8-year-old son of Tech. Sgt. Charles Giltner, 71st RQS plans and exercises NCO in-charge, here March 5. Sam, who sits high on one of the Airman’s shoulders, was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia and had to shave his head because of recent hair loss. Sergeant Giltner, along with 15 other 71st RQS members and friends, also shaved their heads to show support for Sam. (U.S. Air Force photo by Senior Airman Gina Chiaverotti-Paige)
