Two Moody WASPs
MOODY AIR FORCE BASE, Ga. – Helen Trigg and Betty Wright, Women’s Airforce Service pilots who served at Moody in the 1940s, pose next to an aircraft here. The two were assigned to the AT-10 as engineering check and utility pilots. Of the more than 25,000 women who applied to become a WASP, only 1,830 were accepted.
