Inserting the needle
MOODY AIR FORCE BASE, Ga.-- An American Red Cross phlebotomist inserts a needle into the arm of Senior Airman Crista DeComo, 823rd Base Defense Squadron fire team member, during a blood drive at the Freedom I Fitness Center Feb. 17. This was Airman DeComo’s first time giving blood since completing basic military training three years ago and came at a time the ARC vitally needs blood.
