Recycling saves
Recycling is not only beneficial to the environment but it also saves money. It costs the Air Force to dispose of trash but now it’s free to recycle through Moody’s new program. All recyclables around base are picked up by Southern Recycling Industries (SCI), replacing Moody’s previous recycling center as it becomes the Solid Waste Management Facility. Moody will generate a two percent profit from recycled items which will go towards mission essential equipment and supplies. (U.S. Air Force photo by Airman 1st Class Joshua Green/Released)
