Street smart
U.S. Air Force Col. Billy Thompson, 23rd Wing commander, speaks briefly before a Street Smart safety briefing presented by the S.A.F.E. (Stay Alive From Education) program at Moody Air Force Base, Ga., Nov. 18, 2011. Two directors from the S.A.F.E. program shared stories about traumatic injuries and fatalities caused by reckless driving. A slideshow of graphic images from real accidents was shown as examples of what could happen when alcohol or drugs are taken before driving. The presentation served as a method to instill the repercussions of driving while intoxicated in the heads of Airmen ages 26 and under. (U.S. Air Force photo by Senior Airman Eileen Meier/Released)
